Parents fear school admission chaos if postal strike goes ahead.

A national postal strike by Royal Mail workers could throw into chaos applications for secondary school places, parent groups have warned.

Esther Guy, founder of School Together Now, a social website for parents of schoolchildren, said: “It will be a real problem for parents if they don’t know if it the application will get there. Parents are looking at their school applications now.”
